Local resident Christine Nolan always had a soft spot in her heart for dogs, but she never imagined she could make a career out of helping them live a happy, healthy and balanced life.

After sustaining an injury and finding herself unable to work, Nolan began volunteering her time at The Animal Orphanage in Voorhees, NJ. There she met a rambunctious one-year-old male Rottweiler named Leugher. Working with Leugher daily, Nolan discovered she had a strong desire to educate herself in dog behavior. She emailed Cesar Millan, the famed "Dog Whisperer," and received an email back from his staff recommending she contact ZEN4K9S, a school of Dog Psychology and Rehabilitation Center in California, taught by Cesar's apprentice and colleague, Linn Boyke. The facility follows the same principles as Millan. After completing training, Nolan parlayed her talent and knowledge into a thriving business to help dog owners.

Nolan's business, Your Dog and You, approaches a dog's behavioral issues from a dog psychology standpoint. Nolan teaches dog owners the importance of pack leadership and how to understand their dog's behaviors. Through private in-home consultations, she provides owners with the tools necessary to insure that their canine companions live a happy, healthy and balanced life.

Nolan has already helped many families in the local area. She works with dogs of any size, breed or behavioral issue. Problematic dog behaviors that Nolan often addresses and solves include: pulling on the walk, dog aggression, human aggression, jumping, barking, resource guarding, digging, counter surfing, housebreaking, separation anxiety, fear and more. Many testimonials from thankful dog owners can be read on her website: www.yourdogandyou.com.

Bone Up
Your Dog and You Canine Training

top dog!

Relationships aren't easy. There's healthy communication, honesty, and spending time with each other. And, of course, the whole pooping in the yard thing.

No, not that relationship (hopefully). We're referring to Your Dog and You.

Dog behavior specialist Christine Nolan, with her so-named canine training service, understands that proper pup manners are a must (especially when living in the city). She offers private in-home consultations, providing surefire solutions to naughtiness like aggression, separation anxiety, and barking at everyone you bring home.

With Nolan's guidance, you'll gain tremendous insight into the way your dog thinks, acts, and communicates. And might even learn a few tricks yourself.

If only there were such a thing for life's other companions.
